Ok I have finally ordered the new tank.

Nick Chan at ACS is the man for the job.

Tank - Fit Filteration 54in long x 24in wide x 18in high optiwhite braceless rimless.

Cabinet - taller than usual finished in metallic gloss anthracite.

Sump - design in progress.

below is an example of what the tank is going to look like (but with a different colour cabinet).

Little bit more information-

The plumbing is going to be UltraReef overflows, rather than a weir box to keep with the sleek minimalist look.

Been there done one of them, a little hint, turn you lights down otherwise you will burn your corals, on the plus side everything will grow like weeds.

Picked up the new skimmer yesterday.

I didn’t appreciate how big the box is. I currently have it hidden in my car until my wife goes out and I can get it in the house and in the sump without any questions

The skimmer is out of the box and assembled.

First impressions - really well build. I hope it is as silent and performs as quoted.

Thanks again to AAC
